On our way to Young Life - Washington Family Ranch, at about 10:30pm - the roads were getting icy/snowy. Adam decided to get out and make a YL and an arrow at a few places on the long road down to the canyon of young life camp :-)
The Medical Team for this weeks work crew
Jodi and Amber at the Medical Clinic Trailer
First major Owie - Barbed wire fence meeting shin.
Jodi and Amber re-addressing the barbed wire vs shin incident in the Medical Trailer
Another event even included a broken arm. So you think being on the Medical Team would be boring, think again. It can actually be fun and entertaining.
Did someone say it was time to eat? Didn't we just eat?
The food was GREAT!
This is the huge dinning hall we ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Wait until the campers arrive. This building is PACKED. It's an amazing site.
The food was SO yummy! All homemade cooking!
Outside view of the Dinning Hall
Family picture spot on the old fashion wagon in front of the dinning hall.
Welcome to the famous Sarsaparilla Snack Shop
The famous Sarsaparilla drink - really good (similar to root beer)
Did someone say Ice Cream? Sarsaparilla is the place. Moose Tracks and Espresso Explosion are some examples of the ice cream they have to offer.
Seble loved her first taste of ice cream!
The view was always fabulous this week
Noah and Zach begged to ride the zip line-even though it was like in the 40s out and water was prob. 20 some degrees! LOL - They couldn't talk as they were coming out. SOOO Funny!
View of the Sports Center from the dinning hall
Outside the Washington Family Sports Center
As you enter the Sports Center, there are 3 huge rock climbing walls. Kids had a blast!

Lower left clump of trees is the lower zip line platform. Upper zip line platform is middle/left of the picture.
Long walk up but sure if fun coming down.
The kids even got to feed the horses hay and apples.
This is the new Wyldlife camp that opens this June for Jr. high kids...it is awesome!
It will be called Creekside and gets dedicated May 14th
It will have a MAJOR water park with slides and all. Can't wait!
It was work week so here are some college kids cleaning the windows of the dorms.
We decided to get into the action and work by pulling weeds with the work crew too-it was fun!
We even got to work around the Ranch House which is the Medical Teams residence during camp.
We even found out that Rachael Lampa and her husband Brenden were the Worship leaders for Round-up (Club). We got to meet her and talk with her a little bit. It was a surprise for us. Didn't know she was going to be there. They came all the way from Nashville Tennessee. They gave a mini concert the last night too.
This is Rachael Lampa-the famous Christian singer/songwriter....she was at camp with us and her husband. She was totally sweet and as cute as can be! Loved hearing her sing and getting to have a mini concert from them!
Waiting for the concert in the Round-Up (Club) room.

Cassidy got to take her earrings out for the first time since getting them pierced. She was super happy about being able to put new ones in.
Love this old piano in the Ranch House.
Cassidy liked playing it too.
On our way home, Noah FINALLY lost his 2nd middle top tooth! No front teeth now! :-).

"Although it may not always be obvious to us, there seems to be one distinct moment when God begins a new story in each of our lives. He writes words on our hearts that long to be spoken and strain to be lived out. Then with His own great hand, He begins to write the script. Experience by experience through seemingly ordinary days, He supernaturally orders our lives. Only when we look back and reflect on what appeared to have been the ordinary events of life does it become clear what a miracle the Lord has performed." Jan Beazely
