Hi all, if you didn't hear, we wanted to let you know that we are home and doing well. Just got these pictures back of our new baby girl-Seble Alaine (pronounced Seb-lah) and wanted to share. We are working on birth announcements-(in our spare time ha ha)so hopefully those will be done soon :-) As well as our gotcha video-which we are also trying to start. I will send it when we finish it. :-) (So look for it in about 5 years-LOL). We are also still working slowly on finishing our blog trip for our first AND second trips-so stay tuned!
We got home from Ethiopia on Jan 7th and after Seble got over being very sick, we are now adjusting well and beginning to get a little more sleep (3-5 hour stretches at night is the norm). We are tired, but we will get there!
She is a true joy and we are loving her to pieces-the kids think she is the greatest thing and it will be a miracle if the child ever has to do anything for herself-her brothers and sister pretty much are in her face constantly playing and talking to her. It is very sweet to see them with her! We feel very blessed and so thankful to be home!
Want to thank you all again for all the prayers and support throughout the last two years. This was a long journey, but so well worth it! Seble is the perfect fit for our family-God definitely knew she would be with us! It is an amazing and miraculous thing and we are simply in awe of His good works! Adoption is one of the most awesome miracles and is truly from God, as only He could have picked her out from the rest of the world as a perfect match to our family.
We love you all and can't wait for you to meet Seble in person!
PS-Many thanks to Rebecca Rodriguez for taking these pictures for us!! She is an amazing photographer-if you live in the Salem area-you can contact her through her blog if you are needing some photos taken!!! Here is it: http://www.rebeccarodriguezphotography.com/

No other word but DARLING!! Great photography, but it looks like Seble is very comfortable in front of the camera! She better be, I'm sure she's getting the flash bulb every day.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on this amazing journey. I know...I'm living this beautiful dream every day. My two older kids are in deep love with their two toddler sibs, too. God knows what He's doing when He impresses these things upon our hearts, doesn't He?!
She is so precious! Sounds like you are all adjusting wonderfully!
ReplyDeleteHey I recognize that Africa shirt! =D Hehee! She is SOOO very beautiful, thanks for sharing those jaw-dropping shots and a glimpse into your life with her home.
