WE ARE IN ETHIOPIA ABOUT TO BRING OUR DAUGHTER HOME!
Hi guys-this is the first time in Ethiopia that our connection has allowed us to get onto our blog! We arrived fine, picked up Seble and went to our Embassy apt. and tonight we leave to fly home. So much has happened in the last week, and I will have to do a day by day blog later, but let me just say that we are so in love there are not words! Seble had a rough first 24hrs and cried most of it -it was so sad-this scared, terrified scream and not much would consol her. She was just afraid and needed time to adjust. She is showing great signs of starting to bond now-eye contact, touching our faces, looking toward us when other people have her, smiling, etc....

"Although it may not always be obvious to us, there seems to be one distinct moment when God begins a new story in each of our lives. He writes words on our hearts that long to be spoken and strain to be lived out. Then with His own great hand, He begins to write the script. Experience by experience through seemingly ordinary days, He supernaturally orders our lives. Only when we look back and reflect on what appeared to have been the ordinary events of life does it become clear what a miracle the Lord has performed." Jan Beazely
