BLIZZARD CLOSES MANY FRANKFURT FLIGHTS-BUT JUST LIKE SANTA CLAUS WE HAVE TO FLY ON CHRISTMAS EVE!!!
I couldn't help but smile and say thanks to God when I looked on weather.com and saw the forecast....if you didn't know, Frankfurt airport has been canceling and delaying for days even, hundreds of flights in and out of their airport due to blizzard conditions. Well, we are suppose to fly into and out of Frankfurt Airport on our way to and on our way back from Ethiopia. This has had us nervous as we don't want anything to interfere with bringing Seble home. Well, when we looked at the weather forecast last night for Frankfurt, I just felt like a little sun was peaking through and that God was watching over our trip!! Here is what we saw: Blizzard snow and rain everyday this week-EXCEPT the day we are suppose to fly into Frankfurt-there is some sun!! We go from 50-60% snow down to a 10% chance on the day we fly in! Thank you God for even the littlest gifts!!! We are in the 72 hour countdown!! To say we are excited is an understatement!!!

"Although it may not always be obvious to us, there seems to be one distinct moment when God begins a new story in each of our lives. He writes words on our hearts that long to be spoken and strain to be lived out. Then with His own great hand, He begins to write the script. Experience by experience through seemingly ordinary days, He supernaturally orders our lives. Only when we look back and reflect on what appeared to have been the ordinary events of life does it become clear what a miracle the Lord has performed." Jan Beazely
