“And now you will have a nice garden too,” said Frog. “Yes,” said Toad, “but you were right, Frog. It was very hard work!”

"But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day." Habakkuk 2:3

NOW SEEDS....START GROWING!!
As I sat next to my son in bed tonight listening to him read aloud to me, I was feeling something that is starting to appear in my senses more and more and that was pride. I am proud of his ability to learn so quickly and in only 10 weeks home, be able to read short stories, even if it is with help from me.As we neared the end of the story, I felt amazed as I related this short story to our new children. The end gave me goosebumps as I read it and realized this is just what our little ones need. These are things we have done, and my little seeds are starting to be less afraid and are starting to sprout up. They are starting to shoot their roots deeper into the soil and it is truly amazing to watch and to be a part of it. Thank you Father for allowing me this privilege that I almost missed. Here is the story~ The GardenWhat do seeds need to grow? Frog was in his garden. Toad came walking by.
“What a fine garden you have, Frog,” he said.“Yes,” said Frog. “It is very nice, but it was hard work.”“I wish I had a garden,” said Toad. “Here are some flower seeds. Plant them in the ground,” said Frog,
“and soon you will have a garden.”“How soon?” asked Toad.
“Quite soon,” said Frog. Toad ran home. He planted the flower seeds.“Now seeds,” said Toad, “start growing.”Toad walked up and down a few times.
The seeds did not start to grow.Toad put his head close to the ground and said loudly,
“Now seeds, start growing!”Toad looked at the ground again.
The seeds did not start to grow.Toad put his head very close to the ground and shouted,
“NOW SEEDS, START GROWING!” Frog came running up the path.
“What is all this noise?” he asked.
“My seeds will not grow,” said Toad.
“You are shouting too much,” said Frog. “These poor seeds are afraid to grow.” “My seeds are afraid to grow?” asked Toad.
“Of course,” said Frog. “Leave them alone for a few days.
Let the sun shine on them, let the rain fall on them.
Soon your seeds will start to grow.” That night Toad looked out of his window.
“Drat!” said Toad. “My seeds have not started to grow.
They must be afraid of the dark.” Toad went out to his garden with some candles.
“I will read the seeds a story,” said Toad.
“Then they will not be afraid.”Toad read a long story to his seeds. All the next day Toad sang songs to his seeds. And all the next day Toad read poems to his seeds. And all the next day Toad played music for his seeds.Toad looked at the ground.
The seeds still did not start to grow. “What shall I do?” cried Toad.
“These must be the most frightened seeds in the whole world!”
Then Toad felt very tired, and he fell asleep. “Toad, Toad, wake up,” said Frog.
“Look at your garden!”Toad looked at his garden.
Little green plants were coming up out of the ground. “At last,” shouted Toad, “my seeds have stopped being afraid to grow!”
“And now you will have a nice garden too,” said Frog. “Yes,” said Toad, “but you were right, Frog. It was very hard work!”
Isaiah 58:11 "The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail".
“And now you will have a nice garden too,” said Frog. “Yes,” said Toad, “but you were right, Frog. It was very hard work!”

"Although it may not always be obvious to us, there seems to be one distinct moment when God begins a new story in each of our lives. He writes words on our hearts that long to be spoken and strain to be lived out. Then with His own great hand, He begins to write the script. Experience by experience through seemingly ordinary days, He supernaturally orders our lives. Only when we look back and reflect on what appeared to have been the ordinary events of life does it become clear what a miracle the Lord has performed." Jan Beazely

Hi My name is Jenna
ReplyDeleteYour kids are beautiful princesses, handsome prince’s, cute blessings, special earthly angels, and precious gifts and miracles. Your son is a great and fantastic reader!
I was born with a rare life threatening disease, developmental delays, and 14 other medical conditions.
Here is a new poem I wrote, it’s called it takes courage:
It Takes courage to love
Like a dove
It takes courage to fight,
It takes courage to do what’s right
It takes courage to stay strong,
When things go wrong
It takes courage to write a song
It takes courage to live
It takes courage to give
It takes courage to fight this beast
It takes courage to be brave
It takes courage to smile and wave
It takes courage to keep positive
Keep on fighting!
It takes courage to win!
